Drinking Water
Clean, safe drinking water is freely available at all properties in your itinerary - if the tap water is not safe to drink you will be informed, and bottled and/or filtered water will be provided instead.
It is important that you drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration. The general recommendation is at least 2 to 3 quarts of water per day. You might wish to supplement this with a rehydration powder high in electrolytes such as Emergen-C or Gatorade.
As part of an effort to reduce their carbon footprints, many safari camps and lodges offer filtered well water as an alternative to bottled water. "State of the art" filtration and purification systems are used, and we have no hesitation recommending this water for drinking.
