Hotels
Many city hotels either have their own fitness facilities, or can arrange access to a nearby health club. Jogging around towns and cities is strongly discouraged.

There are a handful of luxury lodges that feature modest gym facilities, but this is rare - if you're wondering about whether to take workout clothes, please ask us about facilities at the properties in your itinerary. Because of the presence of dangerous animals, jogging in the bush is strictly forbidden, although guests will sometimes jog back and forth along the elevated walkways within camps. If skipping workouts is out of the question, take a lightweight jump rope, which you will be able to use on your deck or veranda during siesta time. Add a few push-ups and sit-ups to 15-20 minutes of jumping rope and you have a fairly complete workout.
