Hotel Check-In and Check-Out

Safari Camps / Lodges

At safari camps and lodges, check-in and check-out times are typically based around flight schedules, which are often determined only 24 hours in advance. The exact times will be given to you by the camp/lodge manager the evening before you depart. Don't worry about the lack of specificity in advance of your trip, the system is extremely effective and glitches are almost unheard of.

Hotels

At city hotels, check-in times are usually between 1:00pm and 6:00pm. If you are delayed and expect to arrive after 6:00pm, please notify our local partners or advise the hotel of your delayed arrival (if you are scheduled to arrive after 6pm, we will notify the hotel in advance). Check-out times are between 10:00am and 11:00am for most hotels.
